Android 8.1 Alarm not sounding even when not in silent

Specifications

  • Handset: Nokia 6 (2017)
  • Android 8.1 Security patch: June 2018
  • Clock version 6.0 (stock)

The problem

The alarm isn't silenced, ringing not silenced, media isn't silenced; still, the alarm doesn't sound but giving a "Missed alarm" notification.

Fix

Clear Cache and Data of the Clock app.
