How to Convert Excel to vCard (.vcf) File Manually

How to Convert Excel to vCard (.vcf) File Manually

You can convert a list of contacts that are in Excel format to VCF in 5 easy steps.

  1. Name the columns properly.

For example, Name for the contact name and Phone for the phone number. Remove all the headers and unwanted data from the Excel file.
    Remove unnecessary data

    Properly formatted table

  2. Save/export the list in CSV format by using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.

  3. Import the CSV file to Google Contacts.

  4. Select all the contacts you want to be in the VCF file.

  5. Export the selected contacts in VCF format

Now you have your own VCF file with the list of phone numbers you want to import to your phone.

Note: Android phones can import CSV files directly. In that case, you only need the first two (1 & 2) steps only.
